This page explains which personal data we collect through blackhat.ro, why, and what your rights are.

Who we are

The data controller is Black Hat SRL, Aleea Botorani 4, Bucharest, Romania. You can write to us at office@blackhat.ro.

What we collect

Through the contact form: your name, company (if you fill it in), email address and message. To protect the form against automated messages, we also keep the IP address the message was sent from, for a short time.

The site does not use marketing or analytics cookies and does not track you across pages.

Why we use it

We use the form data only to reply to you and to discuss your project. The legal basis is the consent you give by ticking the box in the form and, if the conversation continues, the steps needed before entering into a contract.

We do not sell your data, share it with other companies or send newsletters.

How long we keep it

Messages sent through the form are kept for at most 12 months after our last conversation, then deleted. If we work together, the data needed for the contract is kept for as long as the law requires.

The IP address used for spam protection is kept for at most 24 hours.

Embedded films

The films on this site are hosted on Vimeo and YouTube. The player loads only when you click a film. From that moment, the privacy policies of Vimeo or Google apply. We use Vimeo's do-not-track mode and YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict processing and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to office@blackhat.ro.

If you believe your data has been processed incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page.
